Hoy desde <a href=\"https:\/\/www.redpiso.es\/\">Redpiso<\/a>, te vamos a desvelar uno de los lugares secretos.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Se trata del front\u00f3n Beti-Jai que se encuentra en el<a href=\"https:\/\/www.redpiso.es\/oficina\/inmobiliaria-chamberi-almagro\/venta\"> Barrio Almagro del distrito Chamber\u00ed.<\/a> Fue construido en 1894 con dise\u00f1o del arquitecto c\u00e1ntabro Joaqu\u00edn Rucoba y con un presupuesto de 500 mil pesetas. Gracias a los 67 metros de longitud con los que cuenta se puede jugar a todas las modalidades de pelota.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El juego de la pelota vasca fue muy popular desde finales del siglo XIX hasta principios del XX tal fue la popularidad que en Madrid lleg\u00f3 a tener m\u00e1s de 20 frontones. Esto se debe a que se relacionaba con la burgues\u00eda y clases acomodadas, pero sobre todo a que hac\u00edan apuestas para ver quien ganaba.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El front\u00f3n Beti-Jai al poco tiempo pas\u00f3 a manos de Studebaker, una industria automovil\u00edstica. Y tras eso fue c\u00e1rcel durante la guerra civil, fue tal el abandon\u00f3 que en los 80 fue okupado. Cuando ya parec\u00eda que se iba a quedar abandonado, el Ayuntamiento de Madrid tom\u00f3 este lugar hist\u00f3rico para rehabilitar.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Se abri\u00f3 al p\u00fablico en el a\u00f1o 2019 con visitas de media hora.
